Hi! I’m so glad you could swing by!
My name is Mary Hrusovszky, and I’ve been an animal rights activist for 23 years. I’ve spent time as both a vegan and a vegetarian, and am raising two wonderful boys to make compassionate choices as well.
When it comes to eating vegan, it isn’t always easy. I’ve slipped up many times. The important thing I’ve found is to keep going. Messing up here and there is inevitable, especially in the non-vegan world we live in. But every vegan choice you make makes a difference.
Being vegan isn’t just about eating, though. It encompasses every aspect of your living from the tires you put on your car to the clothes you put on your back. And it can be a daunting task to verify that every item you buy is cruelty-free.
That’s what I’m here for! With The Vegan Variable, I hope to bring you information that makes living the vegan life a little bit easier. I want to help you transition out of a life wrought with cruelty into a life of compassion. Regardless of your background or current standing, whether you’re looking to dive full into a life of veganism or simply to try it one step at a time, this is the place for you.
So, take a look around – read some of my posts, delight in some of my recipes. And if you have questions, please ask. I can’t wait to hear from you!
